# How Potentially Subscriptions Work

Potentially subscriptions give you access to premium features, higher usage, and monthly credits depending on your plan.

## Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

Depending on where you subscribed, billing is managed by:

* **Apple**, if you subscribed through the iOS app

* **Google Play**, if you subscribed through the Android app

* **Potentially / payment provider**, if you subscribed through the web app

## Monthly Credits

Potentially subscriptions include credits that can be used for certain AI models, advanced features, or higher-cost requests.

Credits are provided as part of your subscription plan and refresh based on your billing cycle.

Unused credits **do not carry over to the next month**. Any unused credits from the current billing period will expire when the next billing cycle begins.

## Access After Cancelling

If you cancel your subscription, you will usually keep access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period.

Example:

If your monthly plan renews on July 30 and you cancel on July 15, you can usually keep using your paid features until July 30.

Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically delete your account or remove your data.

## Refunds and Proration

Potentially does **not** provide prorated refunds when a subscription is cancelled.

This means if you cancel partway through a billing period, you will not receive a partial refund for the unused time. Your subscription access will usually remain active until the end of the billing period you already paid for.

Refund handling may depend on where you subscribed:

* Apple purchases are managed by Apple

* Google Play purchases are managed by Google

* Web purchases are managed through Potentially or its payment provider

## Where to Cancel

To cancel, use the same platform where you originally subscribed:

* iOS subscription: cancel through Apple subscriptions

* Android subscription: cancel through Google Play subscriptions

* Web subscription: cancel through Potentially billing settings

## Need Help?
