Is Potentially anonymous?

Yes. Potentially is designed to let you use AI privately and anonymously while still having an account for billing, credits, and cross-device access. Your account is used to manage access, not to train AI models on your data.

Does Potentially train AI models using my chats?

No. Potentially does not train any AI models using your chats, prompts, files, or conversations. Your messages are only used to process the request through the AI model you choose.

Does Potentially store my chats?

No. Potentially does not store your chat data on our side. Your chat history is stored on your device/user side, so you stay in control of your conversations.

What data does Potentially collect?

Potentially needs account and billing-related information to manage your subscription, credits, payment, and access. Potentially does not store your chat history on our side. Your chats are stored locally on your device. Potentially does not use your conversations to train AI models. Your account is used for access and billing, while your chat history stays on your device.

Are my chats used to train LLMs?

No. Your chats are not used by Potentially to train LLMs. Potentially does not train AI models using your chats, prompts, files, or conversations. Your messages are used only to process your request through the AI model you choose.

Does Potentially sell my data?

No. Potentially does not sell your chat data. Potentially is built around anonymous AI usage, local chat storage, and not training AI models on your conversations. Your account is used to manage your subscription, credits, payment, and access.

Where is my chat history stored?

Your chat history is stored locally on your device. Potentially does not store your chat history on our side. Because chats are stored locally, your conversations may not automatically appear on other devices, even when you are signed into the same account. Your account connects your subscription and credits. Your chat history stays on the device where the conversation happened.

What happens if I delete the app?

If you delete the app, your locally stored chat history may be removed from that device. Your Potentially account, subscription, and credits are connected to your account, so they may still be available when you sign in again. Potentially does not store your chat history on our side, so deleted local chats may not be recoverable.

What happens if I clear browser data?

If you use Potentially in a browser and clear your browser data, your locally stored chat history may be removed. Your account, subscription, and credits are connected to your Potentially account, but your chat history is stored locally on your device. Potentially may not be able to recover chats removed by clearing browser data.

What are open source AI models?

Open source AI models are models that their developer make available for other companies and platforms to offer and build on. Kimi K3 is one example available through Potentially. These models can be just as powerful as models from larger AI companies, with different strengths across writing, research, reasoning, coding and other tasks. Potentially lets you access open models alongside other leading AI models in one place. You do not need to download anything, create separate accounts or understand the technical side. Simply choose the model you want and start using it. Open source refers to how the model is made available. It does not mean your prompts or conversations are public.

What is Zero Data Retention (ZDR)?

Zero Data Retention means your prompts and AI responses are not stored by the model provider after your request has been processed. When you send a prompt through Potentially, it is temporarily processed by the AI model you selected so it can generate a response. With ZDR, the provider does not keep that prompt or response afterward or use it to train its models. Your conversation history remains stored locally on your device, giving you control over your chats. ZDR applies to the content of your prompts and responses. Limited technical information may still be processed for security, billing and service performance, but this does not include your conversation content.
